The Zero Carbon Taskforce has published its final report on what needs to be done to cut the carbon footprint of schools across England. Pimlico Academy is the one of the first schools to be fitted with the new energy display meters, which measure a schools power consumption.

Guests include Sarah Westervelt of the Basel Action Network, Shona Burns of Chronicle Books, Joe Kelleher of the San Jose Mercury News, Jean Walsh of San Francisco’s Dept. of the Environment, and Charles Uchu Strader of Gaia Host Collective. Surprisingly, the group considers print publications as being more environmentally friendly than computer use, when you take into account the e-waste factor.
