I’m certainly aware that newer cars (especially hybrids) get much better gas mileage than previous models, which is better for the environment, or is it? What about the cost to the environment to build these new cars? How long do they last compared to older cars? I drive a 1993 Saturn SL2, and I’m just curious on what would be the impact if I got a different car (just wondering, there is no way I could afford a new car) like a prius or insight. What if I sold this car and got a new prius? What if I crush this car and got a new prius? What about selling it to a scrapyard? (There is no way I do either of the last 2, my car runs perfectly fine, lol) Just curious on how much of a difference these things really make.

The more immediate threat would be waste management. Most of our ground water is contaminated with arsenic. This is never discussed! Why not? I think that water pollution, and waste management is the biggest problem we have concerning the environment.

I find it funny that someone can preach to me about global warming, and then go and throw their trash around like it is no big deal. You say that we are responsible for polluting the environment, and then you contaminate our lakes and rivers with your trash? What is wrong with that picture?

What components make up the internal environment of the body? - Question

I know homeostasis is what keeps the internal environment constant. But, are the components that make up the internal environment the receptor etc (which part of feedback system) or am I wrong? I appreciate any help. I will give 5 points.
