I’m only 13 but I’m really into saving the environment. What should I do. I’m also an animal activist. I recycle all my paper and plastic, glass, cans, etc. I’m thinking about becoming vegetarian. Suggestions and opinions? Thanks =]
Call it “Dancing with the Stars”: Global Warming Edition. Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards showed his best dance moves trying to avoid questions about how energy efficient his 28,000-square-foot mansion really is and how much the power bill costs each month.

The Low Carbon Manufacturing Programme (LCMP) aims at reducing carbon emissions generated by manufacturing facilities in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) and developing environmental social governance for those manufacturers. The PRD constitutes about 30% of the total value of China's exports and represents the world's highest concentration of manufacturing infrastructure. According to research conducted by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries in 2007, there were 55000 Hong Kong invested factories in PRD. With the generous sponsorship from Bowen Capital Asia Green Dragon Fund, WWF Hong Kong has developed the LCMP with two renowned technical consultants, comprising a carbon accounting and labeling system. This aims to provide manufacturers with a measurement of their effectiveness in reducing carbon emissions and equip them with best practice in greenhouse gas management. By first engaging factories operated by Hong Kong companies as well as their international customers, our goal is to ensure that the low-carbon manufacturing practices are properly learned and implemented along the supply chain, in line with the national energy saving plan in mainland China. wwf.org.hk
