Small house movement hits Central Texas

Posted by admin on Feb-18-2010

The Small House Movement is taking Central Texas by storm. Homeowners are investing in less space for a fraction of the carbon footprint.

Or do you think otherwise?
Like I mean yeah there are problems with the environment right now such as global warming, pollution, etc but its still sustainable and we can still live comfortably on earth… there are people, groups who are moving to protect the environment so I would say that it is… whats your take on it?

Go vegan. It’s better for you, for the planet, and, most importantly, it’s the morally right thing to do. www.veganpamphlet.com Join our abolitionist vegan page http Amazon rain forest happens to be an incomparable storehouse of carbon, the very carbon that heats up the planet when it’s released into the atmosphere. Brazil now ranks fourth in the world in carbon emissions, and most of its emissions come from deforestation. This land rush is being accelerated by an unlikely source: biofuels. An explosion in demand for farm-grown fuels has raised global crop prices to record highs, which is spurring a dramatic expansion of Brazilian agriculture, which is invading the Amazon at an increasingly alarming rate. But several new studies show the biofuel boom is doing exactly the opposite of what its proponents intended: it’s dramatically accelerating global warming, imperiling the planet in the name of saving it. The basic problem with most biofuels is amazingly simple, given that researchers have ignored it until now: using land to grow fuel leads to the destruction of forests, wetlands and grasslands that store enormous amounts of carbon. Deforestation accounts for 20% of all current carbon emissions. So unless the world can address overpopulation, eliminate emissions from all other sources–cars, power plants, factories, meat and dairy industry–it needs to reduce deforestation or risk an environmental catastrophe. I’m thinking whether SOME guys are gay because of the environment they grew it in or maybe because of some other issues like Electra complex.

Another question is at what age of a child you can then guess his or her sexual preference?

Last question is let’s say now he show sign of straight but later on can the environment he or she grew up in change his or her sexual preference?

Please, only serious answer from certified psychiatric.

www.globalchange.com Cement production responsible for 7% global co2 emissions, 1 ton of concrete uses 1 ton of carbon, impact of real estate construction industry on global warming. Development of property, energy saving, life expectancy of buildings. Longevity extensions. Making buildings last longer before demolition. Lifetime energy consumption. Building regulations and government action to reduce global warming. Building offices, factories, high rise tower blocks, commercial real estate, schools, colleges, hosptals and homes, apartments and flats. Alternatives to concrete. E-crete polymer concrete. Expect widespread use in future of geoplymers such as E-crete, a product using power station waste, developed by Jannie Van Deventer, a chemical engineer at the University of Melbourne, and founder of Zeobond. If we replaced half the world’s concrete production with e-crete it would save a billion tons of carbon dioxide in the next decade alone. E-crete is just one of thousands of examples of new innovation we can expect over the next five to ten years…. representing tens of thousands of new business opportunities, and billions of dollars of new revenues.
