Commercial agriculture and carbon footprints?
Ok, so I read an interesting article today that stated that driving actually produced almost 4 times less CO2 than walking if one assumes that beef is used to fuel our bodies.

No real surprise there since the commercial beef industry is known for being less than environmentally friendly. However, it made me wonder how much of a carbon footprint other commercial agricultural endevors have.
I’m also curious how much CO2 individuals actually produce from their own bodies while walking.
Can anyone point me to such data?
Is it actually possible that driving does, in fact, produce less emissions than walking when all "fuel" sources are considered?
