How can a non-prior service get training in tactical security for operations in High Risk environment ?

I have no military service time except a year in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. I would like to work as a private security contractor in High Risk environment like Africa, Mexico, Columbia etc…
How could I get the necessary training to become a tactical security operator in the field ?

you can get it through what used to be called blackwater, but if you look at their training applications you will see that without prior military or law enforcement experience you are required to take like 10 beginners courses before they let you into the close protection courses.
just to get to where you can take the close protection courses you will spend somewhere around 10K and then the close protection courses go from around 1500.00 to 3k each.
that doesn’t include room and board ammo or the weapons you need for the classes. since the only places they have classes are in Myock N.C. and the midwest (IL) you will most likely have to fly and lodge.
The only place you’re going to get that kind of training is in the Armed Forces and it’s going to take more than 4 years. You’ll need to find a way into a Special Operations/Special Forces unit.
