Carbon Footprint

In Local government, where election to public office can depend on performance, there is pressure on Councils to cut costs and reduce carbon footprints. At the same time they do not want to compromise on service levels, especially in critical public facing areas. In an effort to balance this equation, Surrey County Council decided to replace its existing primary data centre with a new state-of-the-art facility.
