Images and information released today from a joint US-Swiss study of Mars reveal the possibility of flowing water on Mars. Below are pictures of the “tendrils” discovered, dark bodies that 'flow' down steep hills on the Martian surface during the summer months. Although the study does not prove that the tendrils are formed by water, it is, as researcher Richard Zurek says, “hard to imagine they are formed by anything other than fluid seeping down slopes.”
