Where can I find information on filing a hostile work environment complaint in the state of Missouri?

Where is it best to report a hostile work environment claim in the state of Missouri, in the health care industry? The case has more to do with "blackballing" and age discrimination, and a supervisor creating a hostile work environment.

You might want to contact the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission). They are a federal agency. Check here -

The US EEOC would be you best bet.

Well, my first suggestion is documentation. Document EVERYTHING. Incidences in detail complete with names, dates, times and locations. That is your first step. Second, you need to report your allegations to whomever heads up your human resource department. This step is very important. Bring any and all documentation (be smart and make copies) for this meeting and lay it all out for them. Next, you wait for your employer to rectify the situation (meanwhile, you are continuing to document including the resolution that your employer chooses). If at this point the situation still has not been rectified, you need to speak to an attorney. There is no point in skipping any of these steps as you will have to start over and you will have alerted the perpetrators to your intentions. You do not need to inform anyone of your documentations other than human resources and your attorney. I have dealt with this myself on multiple occassions from both sides of the ball. Hope this helps and good luck!
