  2. Telcontar2k4 Said,

Nicely Done! That was about the clearest I’ve ever heard peak oil explained. Very nice video.

  3. najaf Said,

But anyway, thank you so much for this great, funny, educational video and for taking some time and do some initiatives to make a difference :) Ill make sure I pass this on to my group!

P.S: sorry for the too many successive comments! blame youtube for the 500 word limit :P

  4. najaf Said,

So my side of the story, is that I wish the energy crisis could be solved and people in the US start using green power & home power generation so that USA dont rely on other countries for energy because, I think, everyone around the world no matter what race, gender, religion, country they come from want to live a peaceful life and want to more war! We, humans, were created to nurture this planet & foster it for our benefits as a human kind not use it and destroy it for our individual benefits.

  5. najaf Said,

and according to the French documentary le monde selon Bush (the world according to Bush) by William Karel, theres an ongoing under covered business between the US government and Iran regarding oil and a lot more.

  6. najaf Said,

The second part is found in Iraq, which Saddam Hussein didnt want to sell to the US government because he didnt want outsiders to control and make use of the oil in Iraq, so the war was made up to fight terrorism and liberate the Iraqis and other excuses that the US government made up to validate the war they started and take over the oil. So now, the US government is in control of the oil in the gulf and Iraq, which leave us with the last source of oil in the Middle East: Iran.

  7. najaf Said,

As for the Middle East part, well i dont really agree with what you said as I think capitalism is way more dangerous than any other system. Im from the Middle East, a Palestinian-Jordanian to be exact, and I do know the other side of the story. Oil in the Middle East is mostly located in: first, the gulf (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman) which we (Arabs) call the US puppies since the US governments controls these countries economy and oil.

  8. najaf Said,

We still dont know what our final product would be but we did a couple of prototypes, and ideated with people (Indianapolis homeowners) as our project also focuses on people centered design, and now were in the phase of refining the prototypes and evaluating.
But anyway, I talked too much about our project, its just that I feel so excited now about anything related to energy ever since I started working on it.

  9. najaf Said,

great video! i liked it! i’m a graduate student in the visual communication design at herron-IU. our program is based on a problem solving process and our group is learning that process through solving the energy problem. we started from sustainable energy to green power and now we focused our problem to introducing Indianapolis homeowners to home power generation. Its a one year project, were still working on it and supposed to be done by the end of April.

  10. engio Said,

    Another great video, Andy!

  11. kerbohydrate Said,

Great breakdown of the issue. I especially like mentioning the reasons of climate change and peak oil together, which doesn’t seem to happen enough.
